Supporting your child's development

with clarity, care, and transparency

We believe every child deserves access to high-quality therapy that helps them communicate, learn and thrive.

Whether your child is seeing one of our Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Behaviour Support Practitioners or Allied Health Assistants, we’ll provide personalised, evidence-based therapy tailored to your child’s strengths, goals and interests.

We understand that therapy fees, Medicare rebates and funding options can sometimes feel confusing. That’s why we’ve created this guide—to explain everything clearly and help you understand the support available for your family.

If you’re ever unsure, our friendly administration team is always happy to help.

The Assessment Process

Every child is unique, which is why we take the time to get to know your child before creating a therapy plan.

Your assessment allows us to understand your child’s strengths, challenges and goals while working closely with your family to develop meaningful recommendations.

Most assessments are completed over approximately one to two hours (usually across the first two appointments).

If a written report is required, this generally takes an additional one to two hours, depending on the complexity of your child’s needs.

  • Plan Managed
  • Self-Managed

We provide:

  • Speech Pathology
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Behaviour Support

Cancellations

We understand that things can change unexpectedly. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the time to another family on our waitlist and helps our team manage their schedules effectively.
If a session is cancelled late or missed without notice, a cancellation fee will apply in accordance with NDIS guidelines.

We’re committed to working with families in a flexible and respectful way. If you’re unsure about whether a cancellation fee applies, or need help managing bookings, please contact us. Our team is here to help.

Travel Fees

Therapy doesn’t always happen in the clinic—and sometimes, the most meaningful support occurs in a child’s natural environment, such as their home, kinder, or school. When sessions are delivered in the community, a travel fee is charged to cover the time and distance involved.
Travel fees are based on:

  • The time it takes your clinician to travel to and from the session
  • The kilometres travelled

We calculate travel fees fairly and transparently, in line with NDIS travel rules. If you’re unsure how this applies to your child’s sessions, our team will be happy to provide a breakdown and talk through your options.

Do you qualify for a rebate?

Many families are surprised to learn they may be eligible for funding.

Depending on your child’s needs, you may be able to access Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy through Medicare, the NDIS or your Private Health Insurance.

Our administration team can help you determine which funding pathway is most appropriate.

Private Health Insurance

If you have Extras Cover, your health fund may contribute towards Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy.

Your rebate depends on:

  • Your insurer
  • Your level of cover
  • Annual limits
  • Waiting periods

We recommend contacting your health fund for an estimate of your rebate.

Private Therapy

No referral is required.

Many families choose to access Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy privately, allowing therapy to begin as soon as appointments are available.

Still not sure what funding applies to your child?

That’s completely okay.

Every family’s situation is different, and understanding Medicare, NDIS and Private Health funding can sometimes feel overwhelming.

Our friendly administration team is here to help explain your options, answer your questions and guide you through the process.
